Interactive Ad

This is my interactive ad. it is of A&W and i think it portraits them well. i learned the button concept and this is when it came to me naturally. This project was fun but time consuming. I did not enjoy this because the pictures were SO hard to find.

My Blog

I enjoyed this one because you could put anything that you like onto your own blog and have others comment (such as this one). I learned how to put different videos into a blog. this is useful because people make tons of money off of this.

Microsoft Access

This was our Microsoft access project this was a good assignment because this is great for managing a business and keeping it organized. I did not enjoy it because it is very boring and repetitive. I learned how to keep records organized and use microsoft access efectively.

Choose Your Own Adventure

This is my choose your own adventure this was were we took all of our flash knowledge and put it into a project. I leaned tons about buttons and before i had to think about all button codes but now it is natural. I think that this assignment was a good one because it brought all of our flash knowledge together.

This was a fun but a long project. I learned a lot, like how to change the sizes of the flash movie and make advanced tweens. I enjoyed the tweens but I did not enjoy the drawing process. We made a banner add for a company.

Flash Book

In the flash book I learned how to create a basic tween and use the basic tools that flash has to offer. this was a great way to get introduced to flash and it set me up for more advanced things to come. I really enjoyed this because it was fun and we were moving fast and always doing different things in it.

Mutual Fund

This assignment was a lot of fun to do and I really enjoyed myself while I did it. I learned tons about the stock exchange and it rules and it ups and downs. We invested in different stocks and recorded our results for the month. My investments were not the greatest of all choices. I chose to invest fully into a few companies.

General Motors




General Motors has been around for a very long time in fact it has been around even before WWI. William Durant was the founder. The company was in trouble after WWI but during WWII business picked up and GM was on a roll. Then GM started to get into trouble. Now GM is in huge trouble last year alone they recorded a LOSS OF $38.7 Billion. This was a huge hit for the auto giant that has now found itself in a sticky situation. Now GM’s stacks are taking a beating. General Motors are facing two huge problems the strong Canadian dollar for manufacturing and their lack of fuel-efficient and hybrid technology.
General Motors is to lay off 1,200 Oshawa workers. This is due to the lack of cars being sold and the high Canadian dollar. General Motors is digging itself a hole that is one that will be hard to get out of. To be exact a $118 billion dollar hole. The competition is getting bigger and bigger, and GM is not winning the battle. Not many people are satisfied with the GM product and the GM autoworkers are the ones who pay right now.
With rising pension plans and expensive health benefits for the GM workers it is just a matter of time before GM files for bankruptcy. With the rising Canadian dollar it is costing GM a bundle to manufacture its cars in Canada.
General Motors is behind in the hybrid market. They just came out with the Malibu hybrid but it is much later than other companies. GM’s products are more like big tough vehicles but society has changed and there is now a growing demand for small more fuel-efficient cars. GM is still sticking with the “Hummer” brand and the tough trucks and they should be shifting their focus over two Hybrids and smaller and more appealing cars.

I researched general motors because they have a very active history and I thouht their company would be easy to obtain information about. I learned about GM's history and what they stad for. I think this this assignemt was good because it was good to research a company and learn about it.

Peripheral Assignment

I learned the what a fair price is for speakers and where to get the best deals. Along with learning the basics of the microphone and speaker. I looked at most large stores and recorded their price for the certain product then compared it to other stores prices and determined the best deal.

Business Card

This is my businesss card, this was important because if I go into business than a business card is very important to have. I learned how to put an image in the background and tweek it so it is not as bold and so it is dull. I put a lining of a hipo in the background because I thought it would be a good image because it was simple and would not take away from the valuble information that is infront of it.

Whom It May Concern,

Hello, my name is Jeffrey Lynch and I have been a loyal customer to the Sony product. I have had no problems with past purchases but my new slim playstation 2 that my parents had given me for Christmas has seized to work after only a few months. Every time I put a disk in it nothing happens the disk does not seen to spin and nothing happens on the menu.

Is this just a common problem and is this just an easy fix and just requires a few dollars for a part or is this the end of my Playstation 2. could you tell me if I will have to get a whole new consul or if it is worth my while to get it fixed. Please if you have the time reply.

I will continue to play my Sony Playstation 2 because I think it is very enjoyable and a great way to relax. I think you have made a great product and I look forward to what the future holds for Sony.

Explanation

I wrote this to Sony because I own a PS 2 and this is my 2nd because the first broke just like all of them and i expect my new one to very shortly. I directed it to the costumer service department because this is where letters go that concern customer complaints. I learned how to write a complaint letter and what format to put it in. this will be very useful because this is how you get your voice heard when it is directed at large corporations.
